At MatchSentinel, we highly value your privacy. This policy explains the scope and purpose of the data collected when you use our application.

1. Collected Data

MatchSentinel does not ask for or directly collect personally identifying details such as your name, email address, phone number, or precise location. We process the technical data listed below and limited pseudonymous usage and diagnostic data, such as app interactions, an app-instance identifier, device/browser information, approximate region, and crash diagnostics.

• App Installation ID (App Install ID): A randomly generated UUID used to allow anonymous login and save your selected team preferences, without collecting any hardware details.
• FCM Notification Token (Push Token): Used to send push notifications when your followed teams have upcoming matches.
• Device Language: Stored to deliver push notifications in your preferred language.
• Virtual Stadium Data: If you enter a virtual stadium chat room, we process your connection logs (nickname, entry/exit timestamp, encrypted IP address, source port, match details, session ID) and transient chat messages.
• Artificial Intelligence & Poll Data: Votes cast in community prediction polls within AI tactical insights (1 - X - 2) are processed strictly as aggregated, anonymous numerical counters; they are never linked to the user's identity, device, or personal profile.
• Tactics Board & My Tactics Data: Player formations, pitch drawings, visual analyses, and tactic templates saved in the 'My Tactics' library are stored entirely on the user's local device (Local Storage). This data is not transmitted to or stored on MatchSentinel servers, and is never linked to any personal data or user profile.
• Microphone & Audio Data: If the user chooses to record a voice-narrated tactical analysis video in the Tactical Board Studio, microphone access is requested strictly during active recording. Recorded audio is never monitored in the background, never transmitted to or stored on MatchSentinel servers, and is embedded solely into the locally generated video file on your device.

2. Purpose of Data Use

The collected anonymous identifiers are used solely for the following purposes:

• Storing the user's followed team preferences in the database.
• Delivering push notifications to the correct user device at the correct match time.
• Monitoring system security and API rate limits, diagnosing crashes, and measuring anonymous usage to improve reliability.
• Ensuring Virtual Stadium security, complying with local legal and regulatory obligations, and preventing ban evasion.
• Processing publicly available fixture and statistical data to deliver pre-match tactical dynamics and anonymous community poll results to users.
• Enabling users to utilize the Tactics Board Studio, create visual formations and pitch analyses, and locally archive and manage their created tactics on their device.
• Enabling the user to create tactical video analyses with voiceover commentary on the Tactical Board and export them locally.

3. Data Sharing & Security

MatchSentinel does not sell user data or share it with advertising networks. To deliver push notifications, diagnose application errors, and measure anonymous usage, limited technical data may be processed by Google Firebase Cloud Messaging, Firebase Crashlytics, and Google Analytics as service providers. Advertising identifiers are not collected and the data is not used for personalized advertising. Data transmitted by MatchSentinel is protected in transit using HTTPS/TLS, and access to MatchSentinel services is protected by signed authentication controls.

4. User Rights

When you uninstall the application, your FCM token becomes invalid and is automatically deleted. You can change or reset your followed teams inside the app at any time. For the Virtual Stadium, EULA consent logs are retained cryptographically for the duration prescribed by legal regulations for legal compliance and then securely wiped, while active chat messages are permanently deleted exactly 30 minutes after the match ends.
